The main purpose of this study is to investigate. Vegetation structure on ground and growth distribution of Chamaecyparis formosensis plantation which was planted in 1986 in Hwa-Lin area(experimental forest of Department of Forestry Chinese Culture University) and current growth status was also examined for there ferences of silvicultural technique in the future, In six plots of 10m×10m,total of135 trunks were found. In all stands,76% with branching trunks and 10% dead standing trunks were estimated. Average height of live trunks was 4.38m and the total wood volume was 2.70m^3.In vegetation analysis of ground, experimental results revealed 92ground species were found in all 24 plots(5×5m^2)and the composition of groundvegetation was uniform with no exclusiveness. The analysis of ground vegetation could be classified into eight types and the similarity value between vegetation type was below 0.6.
