    Abstract: 本文主要探討社會學者貝克和季登斯所建構的新親密關係，並由其「第二現代」社會理論出發，研究親密關係的內涵及即將面臨的挑戰，並對其論點進行批判。研究發現，貝克夫婦將風險社會概念融入親密關係中，認為第二現代社會裡，個人化與自由選擇，將造成愛情的正常混亂，而混亂的是社會，愛情卻成為新宗教。季登斯則由現代性出發，將親密關係的未來構築為平等、自覺、民主與溝通的純粹關係，此種由下而上的民主化社會變革，將使個人、家庭、社會、政治都得到解放。
    In this paper, we focus mainly on the new look of intimacy that Ulrich Beck and Anthony Giddens build up. We will discuss the transformation of intimacy through the Second Modern social theory.. It was found that, Beck think love will turn to "normal chaos" in the risk society. By the way, Giddens paint a beautiful democratic picture, if intimacy becomes "pure relationship".
