Abstract:	石斛為蘭科多年生草本植物，種類繁多，其用藥部位為莖。在早期的中藥中記載，石斛具生津益胃、溼陰潤肺及解熱止渴的功效，是重要的常用上品中藥。 2,3,4,7-Tetramethoxy-9,10-dihydro-phenanthrene與2,5,6,7-tetramethoxy-9,10-dihydrophenanthren-1-ol是大爪石斛中所分離出的兩種成分，由於具有很好的抗腫瘤活性，因此引起我們合成這些化合物以及其類似物之興趣。我們利用triphenyl(3,4,5-trimethoxy-benzyl)phosphonium bromide與苯環上具有不同取代基之benzaldehyde反應來形成二苯乙烯類化合物，經過氫化反應後，再與PhI(OCOCF3)2及BF3˙Et2O混合液於低溫下進行環化反應，得到一系列以2,3,4-trimethoxy-9,10-dihydrophenanthrene為基本架構的二氫菲類化合物，並以各種光譜確認其結構以供研究此系列化合物的抗腫瘤活性。
