| 摘要: | 本研究計畫從文化實踐的觀點 (cultural practice) 研究網路新聞產品(online news product) 每日生產活動與電子超連結文化之間的關係。研究者以網路新聞從業人員作為研究對象，探電子超連結文本如何透過記者每日新聞生產實踐而進入網路新聞場域之中，進而形塑當代數位新聞文化。研究者認為，電子超連結文本(electronic hypertext) 在網路新聞環境中的意義，在某一程度上必須經由研究新聞生產實踐活動來理解。對本研究而言，電子超連結文本不僅是一種新的網絡科技，同時也是一種被運用在新聞報導中的文本及敘事形式 (textual and narrative form)。本研究採取質性研究方法，預計透過田野訪談 (ethnographic interview)，訪問並觀察30 位不同網路新聞媒體的記者與編輯等新聞從業人員每日實際的網路新聞生產活動，以了解網路新聞生產實踐與超連結文本運用之間的關係。研究者預期透過實證資料分析，可以論證電子超連結文本對網路新聞而言，不僅是一種新的科技技術，同時帶來了去中心化 (decentralization)、網絡化 (networked)、及互文性(contextualization)的文本形態，這些網絡文化在每日的網路新聞生產實踐過程中，與既有的新聞生產規範、原則與過程相互協商與形塑當代網路新聞文化，賦予網路新聞生產不同的新聞生產原則、新聞知識的建構模式、新的新聞事件再現符號運用，以及挑戰新聞記者作為新聞生產主控位置的優勢等。
This research project looks into the relationship between the daily production practice of online journalism and the use of electronic hypertext based on the perspective of cultural practice. It will interview and observe the work of online news-workers, including journalists, editors and other staffs whose jobs are related to online news production, to explore how hypertext is adopted in the field of online news. The main research question is: how does hypertext, as one form of cybercultures, shape online news culture through its practices in the process of online news production? I argue that the meaning of hypertext toward online journalism, to a certain extent, should be understood via practice. For me, hypertext is not only a new online technology, but also new emergent textual and narrative forms which are used wildly in online news production. Several qualitative research methods, including ethnographic interview, observation and qualitative content analysis, are employed in this project to collect empirical data. The project plans to interview 30 online news-workers from various online news websites for an empirical analysis. Analysis of this project will prove and present that, for online journalism, the meaning of electronic hypertext goes beyond a new technological skill. Hypertext has brought about a decentralized, networked and contextualized form of text. While being used in the product of online news, hypertext has negotiated and interacted with existing culture of contemporary journalism. Therefore, this project tends to demonstrate that the use of hypertext in the practice of online news has transformed the contemporary principles of news production, provided different knowledge framework and symbolic of presenting and interpreting news event, and, in the mean time, challenged the priority status of journalists＇ long-term manipulations of representing news event. |
