摘要:	本文所指的「西周中期」，是起於昭王而終至夷王。昭王即位前，成康之治乃是歷史上的盛世典範。西周中期的諸王為求維繫盛世，從昭、穆二王起就採取主動的對外征伐。然在昭、穆二王相繼失利後，西周中期在攻守大勢上有所轉變。這些變化，也連帶著影響到西周中期的國勢。換言之，昭王時期的南征失利，誠可謂西周中期攻守大勢的轉捩點。 Before king zhao was a model of prosperity in history. The establishment of the western Zhou dynasty and passed the king zhao and mu of Zhou. The offensive and defensive trend of the western Zhou dynasty has undergone a huge change. From active to conservative in terms of policy, it happened in more than one hundred years. king zhao of Zhou and southern war, it can be described as a turning point in the offensive and defensive trend in the middle of the western Zhou dynasty.
