Taiwan’s social environment is changing day by day, and the most obvious changes in family patterns are among the parents of modern families because they are busy with work or single-parent families, often neglecting their children’s learning conditions, even if they are told by school teachers or teachers at the school service center. Many parents show an attitude of indifferent or impossible, which may affect children's learning and behavior.
This study uses semi-structured interviews with after-school care service staff to understand the learning and behavioral problems of school children and their handling experience and dilemmas, and finds that the three most common dilemmas are that parents do not cooperate, parents ignore, and children are unwilling to learn; In the distressed part, the most common attention spans, eclipses of subjects, easy to give up during the learning process, and special diseases are the most common. In terms of behavioral disturbances, the most common emotional uncontrollable behaviors, stealing behaviors and special diseases are the most common. For school children, the impact is quite large. Even with the assistance of after-school service staff, it can only be improved temporarily. Changes in the family can help school children to improve the source of trouble.
