    摘要: Stretching before and after competition/match is widely practiced by coach/trainers to
    improved performance and reduced the number of injuries in their athletes. Dynamic stretching gives the mobility to activate muscles and increased the range of motion (ROM) which coaches/trainers believes will improves performance and reduce the risk of injuries. The study aimed to find out stretching (dynamic) and no-stretching improves short sprint (20meter) and vertical jump performance. Fifteen male athletes (N=15) from Chinese Culture University (Division 1) were tested in both tests (stretch and no-stretch) divided to short sprint (pair 1) and vertical jump (pair 2). Pair 1 tends to be accepting the hypothesis that has no different found while pair 2 has a slight different opposing the hypothesis. Frankly, pair 2 tests was executed few minutes after pair 1 which the study suggested that pair 1 maybe affected pair 2 outcomes. Even though pair 2 was insignificant correlated, this is due to the uncontrolled factors which the study had faced. However, based on the results and many literature reviewed, the study is strongly recommended dynamic stretch is effective to improved performance and our daily life style.
