摘要: | 以「論神話故事中動植物圖像的象徵性意涵與其創作表現形式」作為論文主題的目的,即是引用視覺藝術語彙的觀點,來探討動植物形象在神話情境中所展演的元素、符號傳遞和情感召喚,除了以兩大主題「神話元素的生成:論希臘神話故事的起源、發展與應用」及「以文藝復興神話繪畫為主體:論動植物形象之象徵性符號」作為探討主軸之外,更援引相關神話學和解碼系統作歷史脈絡的追溯以及意象的深究與分析。
筆者希望藉著上述的兩個論點,探討動植物在神話故事中的生成軌跡和多元象徵性意涵,使其與筆者自身的情感連結,進而成為一具有系統性的創作實務操作。經由這樣的觀察結果和心得,完整地理出自我創作的思緒泉源,以便在繪畫和書寫中,耙梳自我創作的情感脈絡,更加順暢地尋找出各種不同的動植物繪畫符號與其所扮演的角色。全論文共計六個章節,其要點分述如下:
一、基本論述之研究
第一章「緒論」:簡述專題研究之動機與目的,以及論文所採用的研究方法、研究範圍和架構。
二、主要的研究內容
第二章「神話元素的生成:論希臘神話故事的起源、發展與應用」:闡述神話故事的起始、流傳、記載和實踐。第三章「以文藝復興神話繪畫為主體:論動植物意象之符號象徵系統」:以不同的命名、形態、分類等層面來探討動植物意象在神話故事譜系和神話語境中的象徵性意味,並試圖揭示故事表象之下所隱含的訊息,促使動植物意象跳脫一般觀者的理解範疇與框架,賦予其再生的主觀意識和延伸性意涵。
三、研究成果之論述
第四章「個人創作作品賞析」:在接受神話故事內隱的神話符號象徵系統等多元面向的啟迪後,以自我創作的「森林˙叢林」系列作品,圖文並茂地加以詮釋、分析,用以揭示筆者的自我創作表現手法、色彩運用及畫面架構。第五章「結論」:檢視自身創作和研究的過程,以及自我情感象徵性符號之研析,最後提出論文創作研究結果,以及對未來創作上的展望,並針對本次的研究心得,作一終結的評述。
The purpose taking “On the Symbolic Meaning of the Flora and fauna Image in Myths, and Its Creative Manifestations” as the title of this thesis is to cite the view of visual arts vocabulary to explore the elements, symbols transfer and the emotions call performed by flora and fauna image in the context of myths. In addition to two themes of “Myth elements generation: The origin, development and application of myths” and “Taking myth context as the subject: On the symbols of the flora and fauna image” as discussed spindle, relevant mythology and decoding system are even cited for retrospective historical context and to get to the bottom and analysis of imagery.
I hope that through these two points to explore the generation track and multiple symbolic meaning of flora and fauna in myths, in order to link the author’s own emotion, and thus become a system creation of practical operation. Through such observations and experience, completely sort out the thoughts of self-creation fountain, so as to organize the emotional context of self-creation in painting and writing, and smoothly find a variety of different drawing symbols and the role they acted for flora and fauna. A total of six chapters shown in this thesis, which points are described as follows:
1. A study of basic discourse
Chapter One “Introduction”: Description of motivation and purpose of the case study, and the research methods, scope and structure of this thesis.
2. Main contents
Chapter Two “Myth elements generation: On the symbolic system of the flora and fauna imagery”: An elaboration on the origin, spread, records and practice of myths.
Chapter Three “Taking the myth context as the subject: On the symbolic system of flora and fauna imagery”: With different names, morphology, and classification, explore the symbolic meaning of flora and fauna imagery in myths pedigree and myth context, and attempt to reveal the implied message under the appearance of stories, promoting flora and fauna imagery to escape the framework and scope of general viewer’s understanding, and give its subjective sense of regeneration and extensive meaning.
3. Discusses of the study results
Chapter Four “Personal Creations Appreciation”: After accepting the implicit symbolic system of myths, and diverse inspiration of flora and fauna image in myth context and myths, use the self-created “Forest/Jungle” series with illustrated interpretation to reveal the author’s self-creative expression, the use of color and screen structure.
Chapter Five “Conclusion”: View the self-creation and research process, as well as the research and analysis of self-emotional symbols. Finally, present the study results created in this thesis, and the outlook for the future creation, as well as make conclusive comments on the experience of this study. |
