雲端運算成為近幾年來,各國政府爭相發展的政策規劃方針,台灣目前較大型的資訊產業大多為生產硬體設備,因此對於台灣資訊產業的發展,也期望藉由雲端運算的概念提升硬體設備產業的附加價值;雖然有許多資金雄厚的大型企業及ISP都在發展雲端產業,例如Google、Yahoo或中華電信等…而且也提供了完整的雲端平台應用系統服務,讓其他中小型企業與個人都可以將這些複雜的技術與維運成本轉嫁,交由這些大型服務供應商處理並且輕鬆的使用雲端計算所帶來的便利,但是還是有許多擁有較為機密與敏感資料的需求者,對於資訊安全的控管,無論服務的供應商將資料保全做的再完整,都不希望機敏性資料委外處理,例如高科技產業的研發資料或某些較為敏感的政府單位等…因此對於雲端運算技術與相關的資訊安全研究仍是大家所關心的,而不僅局限於大型企業或ISP。
目前提供雲端平台幾個較為知名的廠商如Google提供的Google App Engine平台、Yahoo所提供的Yahoo Application Platform或Amazon的Amazon Web Service平台等都是以Hadoop軟體為發展雲端平台的基礎,因此本研究希望借由瞭解Hadoop軟體在各家廠商所提供的雲端平台中扮演的角色,探討以Hadoop軟體所建立的雲端服務相關的安全議題,並就Hadoop軟體中的各種存取控制方法進行分析比較,選擇較佳者進行實作驗證。
Recent years, the development of cloud computing has become the main direction for many countries. Most of IT industries in Taiwan now are hardware equipment manufacturers and eager to raise their industry value by expanding cloud computing concept. Many corporations with huge capital such as Google, Yahoo or Chunghwa Telecom are developing cloud industry and supplying complete cloud platform services for small companies and personal users. By means of that, end users can transfer the complex technical issues and massive business running cost to big corporations and enjoy the convenience brought by cloud computing easily. For data security issues, some users such as high technology industries or government departments with confidential and sensitive materials do not prefer outsourced processing no matter how secure the services the suppliers can provide. So the cloud computing technology and relative data security issues are paid a lot of concern by services suppliers and major users.
Since all of the cloud platforms such as Google App Engine from Google, Yahoo Application Platform from Yahoo or Amazon web Service from Amazon are based on Hadoop software, this research will analyze the character that Hadoop software stands in those different cloud platforms and discuss the security issues that related to the cloud services provided by Hadoop software. By comparing the merits and demerits of different data access methods provided by Hadoop software, the best one will be chosen and be applied and verified in virtual situation.
