This study is aimed at discussing the tabletTennis skills for female doubles, adopting Ms. Huang Yi-Hua and Ms. Cheng I-Ching as the study subject. The study scope is the 21 entries of data collected from the four competitions of top 16 female doubles in 2010 Taiwan Table Tennis Championships and the study tool is the “Table Tennis Three-stage Skill Analysis.” The collected data is analyzed based on the Table Tennis Stage Skill Assessment. According to the results, it is discovered that firstly, the scoring percentage in serve-then-aggress part is “No Pass” (58%), while the using percentage in the same part is “Higher” (35%). Secondly, the scoring percentage in receive-then-aggress part is “Good” (61%), while the using percentage in the same part is “Average” (39%). Thirdly, the scoring percentage in rally part is “No Pass” (44%), while the using percentage in the same part is “Lower” (26%). This study then proposes its suggestions based on the aforementioned results as follows: firstly, the result of competition is a presentation integrating many factors and this study presents its overall analysis based on the three-stage skills. It is suggested that future studies may analyze every single skill of the three stages so that the key of victory can be more of certainty. Secondly, this study adopts data collected from four competitions which is rather weak. It is suggested that further records and analysis of the two athletes be conducted continuously. Thirdly, to prepare for London Olympics 2012, future studies may target certain strong candidates and collect information related to their games as a reference for the coach to train athletes.
