自古以來山水自然與人的關係一向都是相當密切的，表現在文學藝術上也是相當多元繽紛。詩人寄情於山水之間，感悟其生命之道理，藉以抒發個人情致，撫慰鬱悶的心靈，藉由詩來體現個人的觀照領會。
王維是傑出的詩人，他將陶、謝以來的田園詩、山水詩的創作融會為一，並且加以發展，開拓出新的領域，成為盛唐時期山水田園詩的卓越代表。蘇軾給予他「詩中有畫，畫中有詩」的高度評價，而這也是大家對王維的第一印象。
對於王維山水田園詩的風格及其藝術探究，本論文首先由瞭解王維的生平著手，從當時的科舉制度、君主的喜好、唐代的古文運動、文體自然的發展，到佛、道思想的盛行與普及等時代背景，來進一步探索王維的生活際遇，以瞭解王維之生平概況，和王維是如何由陶謝詩的格局中開創出新領域，成為盛唐時期山水田園詩的重要代表人物。
其次，探討王維山水田園詩之風格。從山水田園詩的定義、流變到山水田園詩的合流、王維山水田園詩的承襲至風格特色與創新，使我們體會到王維創作的寶貴經驗。
再者，透過王維山水田園詩之藝術探究，來釐清王維的藝術觀念。
最後則探討王維山水田園詩的成就。本章旨在探討輞川二十組詩的內涵，與後人對王維山水田園詩的評價及王維對後世的影響。

Since ancient times, the natural landscape and human relations have always been very

Wang Wei is a distinguished poet, He integration and develop of a new field of Pastoral
and landscape poetry from Tao and Xie's poetry. He became an outstanding representative
of Pastoral and landscape poetry in Tang Dynasty. Su Shi coined a phrase: "A Poem
Replete with Graphic Description and a Painting Full of Poetic Grace" highly appreciated,
which is everyone's first impression of Wang Wei.
In this paper, first begin to understand the life of Wang. Export his life from the fallowing
time background such like the imperial examination system, Sovereign preferences,
Classical Prose Movement, Stylistic development and the spread of Buddhism and
Taoism. Those also tell us how Wang Wei create a new open space since Tao and Xie and
became an important idyllic landscape representative in Tang Dynasty.
Secondly, explore the idyllic landscape of Wang style from the definition and evolution of
idyllic landscapes till the merging of landscape and pastoral poetry. From The Wang Wei's
poetry of landscape and countryside of inherited characteristics to the style and innovation,
so that we realize that the valuable experience of Wang creation.
