For the spotlight on the more and more importance of people's consciousness of environmental protection, the colorant of hylocereus polyrhizus was used to colorizing the nylon fabric with no or a specific mordant reagent in this study. And, the samples colorized were further coated with the reagent TiO2 nanosized to improve the dyeing properties of the natural colorant of hylocereus polyrhizus. The results indicate that the samples colorized with a specific mordant reagent have better dyeing fastnesses than those without a mordant reagent. Meanwhile, the samples after-treated with TiO2 nanosized have also better light fastness than those without after-treatment by 0.5 to 1 degree.
